  • Bachelor's degree in Law: Kuwait University (Distinction with Honors - 2009).

  • Bachelor of Police Science: Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences (Distinction with Honors - 2005).

 

Current Experience and Positions

  • Faculty Member (Associate Professor): Faculty of Law, Kuwait University.

  • Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs: Faculty of Law, Kuwait University (October 2025 - present).

  • Legal Advisor to the Minister of Justice: (December 2024 - Present).

  • Member and Secretary of the Bankruptcy Committee: (March 2022 - present).

  • Certified Arbitrator: National Sports Arbitration Authority (January 2025 - present).

 

Previous professional experience

Dr. Ahmed held several vital advisory positions and led legal teams in various government entities, including:

  • Legal advisor to a number of ministers: He worked as an advisor to the Minister of Finance, the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, the Minister of Trade and Industry, and the Minister of Public Works at different times .

  • Legal Advisor: Competition Protection Authority, Silk City and Boubyan City Development Authority .

  • Investigator: General Directorate of Investigations at the Ministry of Interior (formerly).

  • Police officer: Ministry of Interior (formerly - up to the rank of captain) .

  • The book “Rules of Compulsory Execution in the Kuwaiti Code of Civil Procedure according to the latest legislative amendments” (2025) .

  • Research on “Procedural Conditions for the Enforcement of Foreign Judgments and Court Orders” (International Law Journal - Qatar University).

  • Research on combating the misuse of international and domestic arbitration in corruption crimes (published in English in Pakistan Journal of Criminology - 2025 ).

  • Research paper “Towards the abolition of the principle of reciprocity regarding the enforcement of foreign judgments” (Journal of Sharia and Law - Al-Azhar University 2025).
